A refurbishment of a former factory space, created as a new home for international contemporary art in Nørrebro. The spatial journey moves deliberately from open and light — double-height, with views outward — through increasingly intimate spaces, until natural light disappears entirely. The intervention is restrained — precise where precision was needed, quiet everywhere else — preserving the informal, industrial soul of the building while giving it the lift it required.
